Greetings Fellow Titans –
Another month has passed and we are preparing for winter. The last football game will be on Friday, November 5th against Centennial High School. It is senior night and I invite all of you to come and recognize our senior band members, football players and cheerleaders as they perform for the last time on their home field.
We still have teams alive in the playoffs. After an exciting win against Harrison High School on Wednesday, our girls will be competing in the Volleyball State finals against Walton this Saturday, October 30th at 7 p.m. at Marietta High School. The Cross Country Region meet is also on Saturday at 8 a.m. in Roswell. Good luck to both of our teams!
The new calendar for the 2011-12 school year was approved by the School Board this month and is available at www.fultonschools.org. The first day of school will be August 15, 2011 and the last day will be May 18, 2012. Please check out the website for more information about vacation and teacher work days.
November holds some of our favorite activities and I hope you will take advantage of them. Wednesday, November 3rd is International Night! This is definitely one of the best attended and most popular events each year so get here early! Parents – we still have some table space available for you to share your favorite dishes during our fabulous food tasting in the food court. If you have not already signed up for a table, please do so – we’d love to have you – email Ms. Garcia at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will get back to you with details!! Everyone, please plan to attend – we have a huge talent show, gourmet food tasting, and fashion show planned for your entertainment – great family fun!
Moms, how many times have you asked your students, “What did you do in school today?” Here is your chance to find out first hand! Bring Mom to School Day is Tuesday, November 16th. Hold that day and plan on being here at 8:30 a.m. to experience a day at Northview.
As always, feel free to contact me (email@example.com) if you have any questions or concerns.
Ever Upward and Onward!

This year, students will have the opportunity to upload their personal pictures in the Mnemosyne Yearbook publication. We hope to make a yearbook that the students are more invested in, are proud of, and which becomes a quality product that the Northview students can take pride in. We encourage students to take pictures of themselves, their friends, and significant events, both academic and personal, throughout the school year and submit them for use in this year's Mnemosyne. Students can upload their pictures directly to the Mnemosyne staff by going to northviewhigh.com, click on 'Yearbook Information', and then 'Yearbook: Upload Your Pictures For Consideration'.
