Greetings Fellow Titans –
I am happy to announce that plans for the graduation of The Class of 2011 have been set! The ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Verizon Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta.
For those of you who attended last year, you can attest to the wonderful features of this beautiful venue. Covered seating is available to accommodate all of our graduates and their invited friends and family and we are thrilled to be able to use this site once again. More details will be available in the upcoming months.
In February, it is always my pleasure to recognize two special employees as chosen by the whole faculty.
Northview’s Teacher of the Year is Mr. Paul McClain in the Drama Department.
The Classified Employee of the Year is Mr. Chris Harkey, our Technology Specialist.
Please make sure to congratulate these worthy individuals when you see them! They will represent us well as their names are submitted to the County for further recognition.
Bring Dad to School Day is quickly approaching and I hope you have made plans! On Monday, February 28th, we open our doors to fathers, grandfathers, or other prominent males in a student’s life. They will have the opportunity to see what a day at Northview is like and we hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity. Starting at 8 a.m., you are invited to register at the front door and then join your student as he/she goes to class, has lunch, and experience all that you keep hearing about. I hope many of you will take advantage of this day – don’t let your son or daughter talk you out of it!
As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Ever Upward and Onward!

New Superintendent Survey

The Fulton County Board of Education has launched its search for a new system leader following Superintendent Cindy Loe's announcement to retire at the end of the school year. As preparation for the search, the community is invited to provide input on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes of an ideal superintendent candidate.

The brief survey is posted on the school system's website and will be live until the end of February. It also can be taken directly here.

A superintendent finalist is expected to be announced in the spring.
