YMCA Teen Upcoming Events
1. Teen Night- Open to Middle School and High School. Music, Video Games, Basketball etc. This Saturday May 15th 7pm-10pm...$7 at the door at the Teen Center.
2. Mission Atlanta 2010- Teens volunteer during the day and participate in fun excursions at night. Volunteer projects range from minor construction to feeding the homeless. Cost is $150 for YMCA members, $175 for non members. May 31-June 5. Please see the attached for more details! Middle School and High School welcome
3. Summer Leaders- As you know we have Teen Leadership clubs that meet weekly. We decided to extend our program into the Summer. Every Wednesday beginning June 9th, teens will meet and discuss a variety of topics and participate in debates. They will have teambuilding activities, field trips, volunteer projects and more. There is no cost for this program. Teens just show up when the program begins. Paperwork/registration is distributed after the second meeting. Middle School and High School welcome.
4. Splash Bash 2010- We are inviting Teen Leaders, friends and the community to celebrate the end of the year in a positive and safe atmosphere. On the last day of school (May 21st) we will have a pool party for High School students only. Cost is $7 in advance and $10 at the door. For pre-sale tickets please have students contact me directly.

Teen Leader ship Program
The Fulton County Youth Commission is a LEADERSHIP PROGRAM is designed to help get tomorrow's LEADERS involved TODAY! As Youth Commissioners, students will address the many issues presently facing youth through their influence on government mandates, policies and legislation. Students will become familiar with how local government resolves youth issues, and will make suggestions for the best solutions.
For consideration, students must meet the following criteria:
Ø Must be a resident of Fulton County and attend a Fulton County or APS school
Ø Must currently be in the 9th -11th grade during the 2010-2011 academic year
Ø Must submit a completed application
Applications are due by May 14th, 2010 and are available it the Counseling Office's College and Career Center as well as on the school's website.
