Our mission is to instill excellence in academics,
arts, and athletics.
Northview High School was the 2004 Governor’s Cup recipient
for Academic Excellence. This award reflects the largest gain in SAT scores
by any 5-A high school in Georgia. In 2005, Newsweek Magazine named Northview
as one of the top 1,000 high school in the United States. Also in 2005,
Atlanta Magazine selected Northview as a “best high school” in their review
of metropolitan Atlanta Schools. These accolades attest to the success
of our mission in the area of academics.
