ENGINEERING
Northview Hovercraft teams took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in Speed and Performance this past Saturday morning. The 2nd Place team also won for Best Time and Best Overall Design!  The engineering students credit their wins to following a meticulous design process combined with hours practice.  Congratulations to the Engineering Concepts class!!
 
DRAMA
Auditions for our 12th annual Dessert Theatre show will take place after school TODAY in the Blackbox Theater, room 755. Contact student director Courtney O’Connell with any questions.
 
NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY
Attention National Art Honor Society inductees:  The induction ceremony scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 11th at 5:30pm in the Media Center.
 
CHESS CLUB
The Northview Chess Team competed in the state tournament over the weekend. Northview entered two teams into the tournament. With 26 teams competing, the Northview A team won the state championship! The Northview B team took sixth place overall, ranking them as the top B team in the competition. Please congratulate your Northview Chess team on a dominant showing at the state tournament.
 
TENNIS
Congratulations to our boys and girls tennis teams.  Both teams won their first round in the Region Tournament.  The boys defeated Centennial 5-0 and the girls defeated Dunwoody 5-0.  Both teams will be playing tomorrow in the 2nd round.  Good luck and go Titans!
 
GIRLS BASKETBALL
There will be a parent/player meeting for anyone interested in playing Girls’ Basketball next season TONIGHT at 7 p.m. in the Media Center. We will discuss the upcoming summer schedule and answer any questions about the program heading into next season. If you have any questions, see Coach Yarbrough in Room 540.
 
TITAN FEST
Our annual Titan Fest will take place this Friday. Tickets will be on sale during both lunches this week for $3. This year, we will be joined by the King of Pops and Mama Dukes food trucks which will be selling items from $3 to $8 dollars.
 
SIDE BY SIDE TUTORING
Northview's side by side peer tutoring club offers free sessions after school on Wednesdays in the back of the media center. If you need any help with your classes, feel free to pay them a visit!
 
COUNSELING
Are you planning to take Georgia Tech Math next year?  If so, then you need to turn in your Move on When Ready paperwork by Friday.  Stop by the counseling office to pick up your packet.
