The National Honor Society (NHS) is an academic club. Membership is by invitation only. The purpose of the NHS is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students of Northview High School. Juniors and Seniors who have a cumulative average of 92 on a scale of 100 at the conclusion of Fall Semester will be invited to submit a portfolio illustrating excellence in academics, leadership, service, and character for use in the selection process. Once a student is inducted, he/she must maintain the high standards by which he/she was selected. Members must attend meetings and fulfill service commitments.
Requirement for membership: 92 or higher cumulative average and invitation to join
Dues: $30

Meetings are mandatory and are held in the auditorium at 7:45AM.
Members must see Mrs. Cascio, room 792 if they are unable to attend.
