The German Club is involved in various cultural activities throughout the school year. Our goals are to extend our German experience from the classroom into the community by including the student body as much as possible, have fun, and eat good food. This year we have adopted two charities, Tanner's Totes, a drive to raise items for young cancer patients in the hospital; and a mission to serve impoverished families in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. We are big gardeners on the front school grounds and orchestrate other activities which include: having a tailgating party and Homecoming truck; hosting a Trivia Contest for National German Week; serving hot chocolate and singing German holiday songs as students arrive at school; making gingerbread houses; going to German restaurants; seeing German movies and much more! Come join us! Jawohl!
